Peace and Justice

Christ the King engages with other parishes, congregations, and organizations to form the Southside Catholic Peace and Justice Committee. This committee’s sense of purpose is steeped in Catholic Social Justice teaching, and the committee is focused on practicing the faith. 

Since joining this committee, Christ the King has worked to promote violence prevention initiatives; hold events addressing immigration; promote Fair Trade items; and promote understanding and tolerance with Muslim communities.
