Expectations

God’s love is freely given to us. Participating in the life of our parish community is an excellent way to see that love in action and to grow closer to God. 

Being a member of a faith community also brings expectations. Members are encouraged  to participate in the sacramental life of the parish; utilize their gifts from God to serve others; and support the good works of the parish.

Living our faith to the fullest means that we spend time in individual and communal prayer. However, we also live our faith in word and action. The way that we treat our families, friends, neighbors, and strangers on the street should be guided by the principles rooted in the Gospel.  The strength of our parish community lies in our collective willingness to build up the “City of God” in our homes, our community, and our world.
