On April 6th, the students of Christ the King participated in a traditional Guatemalan Lenten Procession from the school to the church with floats they created themselves. Everyone enjoyed this cultural and prayerful event.

As we near the end of Lent, here is a list of our upcoming services.

High School teens from all parishes are welcome to attend a 6pm mass followed by Texas Hold 'Em Tournament and Tex-Mex buffet on April 24th.

Bravo to the cast and crew of Grease, performed at CK April 7th through 9th!

Hop on over after 11am mass on April 10th for FSA's Easter Egg Hunt. Kids 0-10 are welcome to meet the bunny, take a picture, and search for eggs in sections divided into age groups.

Kolbe House Jail Ministry is collecting basic necessities for men in Cook County Jail where Pablo Perez is staff chaplain. There will also be a prayer walk at the jail on Sunday, April 10th where we will reflect on Jesus' entrance into Jerusalem, as well as his own arrest and detention, as calls to action to unite in our commitment to defend the human dignity of those incarcerated and promote reconciliation and healing for all those impacted by the criminal justice system.

Join the conversation on Sunday, March 27th at 7pm at St. Barnabas. This grass roots group offers a forum for voices in the Church and advances the discussion centered on the ordination of women to the Diaconate.

Please join us these last couple weeks of Lent. The Rosary is prayed in our Adoration Chapel on Wednesdays at 6:30pm (thru 4/13) and Saturdays after 8:30am mass (thru 4/9). The Divine Mercy Chaplet followed by Stations of the Cross are in church on Fridays at 2:30pm (thru 4/8).

Service begins at 2pm. Individual confessions will be heard after the service.

On Sunday, April 24th at 3pm Christ the King will celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday with a prayer service and exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.
