We join our neighbors at St. Barnabas in honoring and praying for the sainthood of Chicago’s very own Fr. Augustus Tolton. On Sunday, December 4th, Bishop Joseph N. Perry is celebrating the 10:00 AM Eucharist at St. Barnabas and giving a presentation on the life and spirituality of Fr. Tolton.

Our parish has been blessed with the privilege of having the Monstrance blessed by St. Pope John Paul II from his hospital room in Rome one month before his passing away on May 2, 2005. Check the schedule posted here and spend a few minutes – or an hour or two – in private meditation before the Real Presence.

We will be celebrating Veterans Day on Sunday, November 13th at the 9am mass which will be led by our Women in Ministry group with guest reflectionist Margaret McGann.

In honor of World Sight Day, our CK Student Ambassadors are collecting glasses. Boxes are available through November 15th in the school office or in the back of church.

Don't miss CK's famous Turkey Trot this year on Saturday, November 19th. More details to come. (This is a social event, not a run.)

Join CK's First Friday Club for a flick on November 4th in the school's Regency Room. Doors open at 6:30pm.

Join us after 5pm mass on Saturday, October 29th for some treats! There will be pizza and refreshments in the Gleeson Center along with games and activities for children 10 and under.

We will celebrate All Souls Day a little early - on Sunday, October 30th at 7pm.

The parish book club meet at 7pm on October 26th to discuss this month's book, My Body Is Not a Prayer Request: Disability Justice in the Church by Amy Kenny.
