The Christ the King and St Barnabas bereavement ministries will again offer GriefShare this Fall, 2024. GriefShare is a Christian-centric program designed to assist those experiencing the loss to death of a loved one. It consists of a weekly video of a subject relating to the grief experience, small group discussion, and workbook exercises corresponding to the weekly video. The GriefShare group will meet over thirteen weeks on Tuesdays, beginning September 17, 2024 at 6:30pm in the CK rectory basement. (9235 S Hamilton, Chicago).
One may register at GriefShare.org. , go to ‘locate a group’, insert the CK zipcode ‘60643’, scroll and find the Christ the King listing then use prompts to register. A $25 support fee is requested which purchases the workbook (scholarships are available for the fee).
